El Limo, Anaerobic Natural
Jammy red fruits, dark chocolate & tea rose florals.
---From second-generation farmer Jose Enrique Gutierrez, El Limo exemplifies the vast knowledge gathered over many years of coffee-producing. San Pacho is a high-yielding dwarf variety that’s a cross between Caturra and San Bernardo varieties. Jose (or Chele as everyone calls him) is dedicated to producing high-quality coffees in a sustainable manner. His family produced coffee in the eastern region of El Salvador but left due to low coffee prices and a civil war in the 1980s. Nevertheless, coffee is Jose’s passion and, when he purchased his first farm in 2007, he did so with a specialty mindset. Expect jammy red fruits with a splash of barrel-aged single malt and dark chocolate overlaid with delicate tea rose florals.
